An employee of a real estate agancy in New York City stole $1880 from me. He was arressted for grand larseny by false promise. If he is found guilty, will he be forced to repay the money? Or can he be sentenced with probation, community service, etc. instead? If for some reason I can not receive the money from the 'employee,' will it be possible to be refunded by his company/employer? And if so, is there a time limit by which I have to take action against his employer?
