I resigned from my job on Monday. I had accepted a job offer with a competitor. On Tuesday, my employment was terminated and the reason stated was because I was going to work for a competitor. I did not sign a non-competitive agreement. Can my employer fire me for this reason? I live in Pennsylvania.
