What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AZ

May be moving on to a competitor of my current company. Deep within the contract you signed when hired there's a "No Compete Clause". Have seen numerous co-workers leave and go work for other competing companies without any issues with this clause. Seems to be not so enforceable but wanted to get some insight on the topic. I think some had just not disclosed who there next employer would be.
