4.5 Use For Employment (18 Pa. C.S.A. §9125)
Section 9125 allows potential employers to use criminal history record information in the hiring
process. Felony and misdemeanor convictions may be considered only to the extent to which they relate to
the applicant(s) suitability for employment in the position for which he has applied. As in the previous
section, the applicant shall be notified in writing if the decision not to hire is based in whole or part on
criminal history record information.

Does that mean summary offenses cant be used against for consideration of employment?
