What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

Ok, So I am in college and I got an M.I.P/C. last may. I got a period to complete a diversion program. The problem with that was that i left tucson for home in california. Long story short I did not complete the diversion. So I missed my court date. What should I do, optimally I would like to keep anything major off of my record. I have been avoiding this, but im tired of living in fear of getting pulled over and hauled away. My tenative plan is to walk into the courthouse reception area and asking for a date to go in front of the judge? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, how big of a deal is this? What should I expect? I have no record, and I can present myself well in court. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The diversion program *WAS* your chance to keep things off your record. You failed by casually blowing it off. I'd start with your probation officer or whoever is responsible for administrating the diversion to see if you can get reinstated or have to go up in front of the judge. If you're really really luck you might get a THIRD chance at this.
