Longs Drug has a (within 12 month period) 10 point termination policy . Are there any suits against Longs for this policy or unfair application of this policy? How can this be legally applied to a sick day with a doctors excuse?

The policy allows for a REASONABLE number of sick days, with or without doctors note. Unless FMLA would apply to the absence, nothing stops them from disciplining or terminating someone who took too many sick days - even if they were legitimately sick.
