What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington

Real property was transferred to a trust (an irrevocable trust, AB type). Both the husband and wife were trustees but only the husband's name, as trustee, was on the deed which was recorded. The husband now has died. How do you change the name of the trustee from the husband to the wife, who is now sole trustee? Is a quit claim deed required? (If so, how can the husband, who is deceased, transfer title?) Any help on how to handle the trustee name change would be appreciated.

in california, you would need to file an affidavit of death of trustee, along with a copy of the death certificate.
