What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Michigan
Sunday I noticed my job posted in the local paper and went to work on Monday and was told I could stay or go that they were replacing me so I left and filed for benefits and I have yet to receive any benefits from the UIA

Please tell me you weren't expecting to have already received a check from the unemployment office less than a week after you filed. It takes longer than that for your name to get into the computer.

It will be, at minimum, three to four weeks from the day you file before you get your first check.
