What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OH

My wife's dad(not worthy to be called father in law) lives in FL. She is his POA, beneficary..... Unfortunately, he's irresponsible, immature......etc. She asked him to take her name off POA, beneficiary...... because she is certain that his debt exceeds his assests( that's the type of person his is) and she doesn't want to be stuck with his debt. What legal option does she have to make sure that her name is taken out. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

She can be his POA, just keep his accounts absolutely separate from hers/yours.

She is acting on his behalf, signing for him with HIS assets (and liabilities). She signs his things with (POA) behind her signature.
