My daughter is currently receiving treatment for cancer. The doctor says 6 months minimum. She obviously can't work. Is she entitled to any form of disability income?
Any child who is disabled under the age of 18 is entitled to Social Security DISABILITY not Social Security Insurance.
Simply go make an appointment with your local Social Security Office. It's fairly easy and you can do most of it over the phone.
