What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

My daughter has arrected and charged with 3rd degree theft and grand theft auto- her bond is set @ 75K- WOW- ive been told that the county she is in is the worst ever. People are sitting in there 8 months on a misdimeanor. She is freaking out, Im freaking out. Any advise would be appreciated. Can i personally request for a speedy trial and or bond reduction?

No. She is 19yr - she has a court date in 2 weeks in the county which we reside for a misdimeanor tresspass ( standing infront of a corner store) !! That is her only other run in with the law-

Unless you are an attorney you can not request anything for her...She can either do it for herself (Pro Se) or her attorney can do it for her.

Thanks for the info- So knowing nothing about the way thing work- how does she go about doing that from jail- will she need to request it or will she have to wait until she has court apperance?
