What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL

I was arrested earlier this week for disorderly conduct outside a local bar. Basically, I had entirely too much to drink and was disturbing patrons inside the bar; I was asked to leave and did so in a gentlemanly manner (according to bar owner). Unluckily, the cops happened to be outside the bar at that moment and I was arrested for disorderly conduct due to being extremely intoxicated and making obscene (not nude/lewd) gestures to people walking down the street. I was taken to the drunk tank and let go under my own recognizance the following morning and given a court date. This is my first arrest since 2001 when I was arrested for underage/public intox while in college.

My question is this - am I likely to serve any time over this incident? I don't take things like this lightly, and I tend to freak out. I consider myself an upstanding individual and am very successful in my job; the LAST thing I want to see is this arrest affect my professional life in any way, shape or form.

I understand DC is a pretty common arrest, but I also know there are varying levels of severity, so I'm just wondering if anyone can give me some advice or help ease my mind a bit.

Thanks in advance!!!!
