i have been falsly accused of forging signatures to gas receipts for gas i never received. i have an alibi for the times and dates, but they feel that since it's my responsibility to handle petty cash i should be the one to get suspended. can they fire me for this circumstantial evidence? is it lawful to suspend me for this without pay? what can i do? they are going strictly on the fact that it "looks" like my signature.
