In California how long can an empoyee continue to stay off work while seeing a physician for non-work related depression? Can they be fired even though the state doc did an evaluation and continues to write that person off work under SDI? And what can be done knowing that the immediate supervisor has cleaned out the employees desk? Please help. I need to know some of the rights that are available.
