My friend in California recently spoke with another person who sold his future medical benefits after a workers comp settlement. This person indicated to us there are companies or individuals who buy these future medical benefits. Unfortunately, my friend did not get any further information and we have been trying to find out how to do this. Has anyone ever heard of this? Does anyone know where to begin to sell these future medical benefits and what is the time frame under which this can be done, ie months or years? Any information or direction would be helpful. thank you.
