When I was hired at a cleaning business I signed a contract.
It stated that I may not clean houses until one year after I stopped working for them. Now the reason I want to leave is because I got a promotion in duties, but I got a demotion in wages. So is it legal for them to even make me sign that. Also some of the clients want me and only me to clean their houses, and they will switch to me if I leave the business. Is that also illegal?
