We are in Missouri. The company my husband works for has a history of showing people the door the minute they turn in their two week notice. As he is accepting a job out of state, we are concerned that they will do the same for him. If they do, would that not be considered a termination? Or instead would they be liable for paying him for the two weeks he was willing to work? This is urgent as my husband is do to resign soon. Thank you.
