All that is required is that it be signed by the principal and dated. Neither witnesses nor notarization is required.

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MI

Is a witness required for a POA in MI?
After a quick look at Michigan statutes, I don't see a requirement for witnesses.

Matter of fact, I don't know of a state that does require witnesses.
