What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
My father is in a nursing home and I signed forms when he was admitted. One of the forms stated he would be resposable for payment if the insurance payments stopped. Can the nursing home force me to make payments from my pocket when the insurance stops? I have POA. I live in Massachusetts. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

One of the forms stated he would be resposable for payment...
Well, without seeing exactly what was signed, it would be a guess. But...

Generally "he" means he. It does not mean "you."

A POA does not transfer the principal's liabilities to the agent.
