What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Once a durable power of attorney has been signed, witnessed, and notorized is the only legal recording that needs to be done is to file with the county recorders office? Or does that even have to be done to make the document enforceable? The principal is still living and of competent mind.
Does it need to be filed in the county that the principal resides in or can it be filed in the county where the attorney in fact resides. ( Person obtaining power of attorney).
