I work in 4* restaurant in NC, my questions are..can my employer demand money for broken glasses, plates etc? Wondering what the laws are regarding who absorbs breakages in work place? Also regarding wages in NC, we get paid 2.50 an hour...what are laws regarding min wage when you make less in tips than wage per hour? Also can an employer make waitstaff pay charge card fees...and in our restaurant during busy times we have to wait over a week for our tips, employers reason is charge tips take three days or more to get into bank...is this right?
