I Have received an oustanding summons nootice from NYC for a parking violation on 12/2/00. I have never been to NY city for the past 6 or 7 months. I was in Albany, NY on that day and I do have my credit card statement to support my claim that I was there. I have pleaded not guilty by mail and have submitted the evidence. Will this kind of evidence help?

It should. But are you sure about NYC? I.e. that is was in Albany where you got the ticket but they deemed it NYC because that is where the Traffic Bureau is?

It might be worth a phone call to the Traffic Bureau/Department of Transportation there and see what can be done.

The ticket information provided on the internet website of the NYC finanace dept said that I had parked on 153rd street in Manhattan. That way I confirmed that the ticket was not for a parking violation in Albany, NY.
