What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ID
A friend deposited a check into my account without my
knowledge, he asked me to withdrawal the funds, I
obliged. After withdrawing the funds ($3,000) and handing them
over to him he asked me to set up a business account
with $1,000 (that he supplied), I also obliged. At the
recommendation of the employee at the bank I made a
stamp with my name on it that my friend possessed. In
the business account he deposited a $5,000 check and
withdrew funds totaling $3,000+. I am 18, a college
freshman, and $7,000+ in debt to banks.

Thank you for your fascinating post. I am constantly amazed at how dense some people can be. I have added your post to my "Unbelievable Idiocy" collection.

OP was scammed by an advance fee fraud. He's too embarrassed to give the full details.

Translated:

"Friend" = some scammer from Craigslist

"Handing the funds over" = Western Union money transfer

"Employee of the bank" = same scammer from Craigslist

"I am 18, a college freshman, and $7,000+ in debt to banks." = He is 18, in college, and $7k in debt to banks.
