I have resigned in Colorado and have given several weeks notice (Per employer's request-personnel policy). I have obtained another job but don't want to lose my accrued vacation pay. I have completed 2 weeks and want to leave now (2 weeks early). If I walk, can my employer withhold my vacation pay or tie my money up in litigation?

Thanks for responding as soon as possible.

You will want to ask a local employment law attorney to check on my answers inasmuchas I am using California law. The answer to your question is "No. Your employer can't hold that money or accrued vacation pay hostage". OK?
