dismissed because of injury and job title change

hired as manager/maintenance supervisor for a 50 unit building in west los angeles. hurt my foot and had surgery while at work and now have restricted duties and pain. a few months after my return from surgery my job site and title where changed to a 100 unit building and maintance only. not able to preform these much more taxing job i was dissmissed.

Did you hire your own Workers' Compensation attorney for the foot injury? Also, once you came back to work, did the employer try to make any accommodation for you to perform your job given your recent injury?
