I let my auto insurance expire for a car of mine a few weeks ago. Just yesterday morning that same car, which was parked outside my house, was struck by a supposed drunk driver in a stolen vehicle (at least that's what the police stated). I haven't received any information yet regarding who the driver is or even the owner of the car. I guess my question would be: What can I expect as far as liabilities? Will/should the insurance (if any) of the car who struck mine cover my expenses? I reside in CA.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
