I am currently preparing a small claim (about 500 dollars) to recover money from a former HOA management company that operates in Upland, CA. Which courthouse should I file my claim to ? The one in Pomona where I live or the one that covers where the business operates ?
As far as serving the business of my small claim suit which is the preferred way to go ? Hire a process server or simply just sent another certified letter via court ? Thanks.
