Lost wages

VA - I am trying to learn from experiences of others. My question is if you have been successful in procuring lost wages from a cause of action from misuse of process and/or malicious prosecution, how'd you go about getting the disposition in your favor. Also if you were a respondant to a claim from these cause of actions how'd you defend yourself and receive a disposition in your favor.
