What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas - filed divorce papers on Monday, found out on tuesday, soon to be Ex husband has purchased a new truck, how does this effect the divorce and how do i protect myself if he defaults on the loan?

make sure it is listed in the divorce under assets and debts.

is it safe to assume he did not use your name on the title/loan?
