What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin

I worked at a Sears store and about 4 months ago began taking money out of the registers, and after about a month and a half I was caught. I stole 355.00 dollars total and was talked to, I also had to fill out an apology letter and told the company that I would pay back the money that I stole. They decided not to involve the police and instead just had me pay back the money and I lost my job (obviously). I payed back the money 4 days after I was accused. I recently got a Civil Demand letter from a law office in California saying that I owed them 250.00 for civil demand (which I just recently payed) and that the balance that I owed the company was 605 dollars total. This obviously includes the 355.00 dollars that I payed the company back.

My overall question is this: can they charge me for the 355.00 dollars that I stole a second time or is this a mistake?

Any help on the matter would be great.

Thanks!
