i live in dayton ohio. i slod a used car to a private buyer. he did not drive the car,just asked a few questions. i told him everything that i did to the car & what it needed.there was no warranty on this car nor did i tell him there was one.now the car is broke down (the next day) and wants his money back. he is sueing me.does he have a case?

His (and your) success in court is entirely contingent on the case that you each make. If he can convince the court that you made certain guarantees or assurances about the car, he might win. If you can show that you didn't, then you might win.

In other words, it depends entirely on the facts that each of you can prove to the court.

Usually, but not always, the side with the best case wins.
