What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alabama

My 29 year old son was involved in a "no fault" accident last year (moot in Alabama, I know) in which both vehicles were totaled and both he and the other driver had insurance.

He is now being sued for damages (medical and emotional) for alleged negligence and/or wantonness. The plaintiff's interrogatories include questions related to traffic citations within the past ten years along with any prior arrests.

Previous motor vehicle violations, including a DUI 8 years ago, are no longer part of his driving record. Is he required to respond to questions dating back ten years? Plus, what is his responsibility in replying to all of the questions and obtaining requested documents in the interrogatories?

Thank you in advance for your response. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

He needs to report the suit to his insurance company and forward all paperwork to them. They will appoint a defense atty for him and he should follow the atty's instructions.
