What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

If I have a conviction for a Class C felony in Indiana (non firearm, and non violent), can I legally work in a sporting goods store that sells guns, if I don't "ship or transport in interstate or foreign commerce, or possess in or affecting commerce, any firearm or ammunition; or to receive any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce" per 18 USC 922 (g)? I would be dealing with customers only, and not involved directly in any way with the firearms or ammunition themselves.
