What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I just switched from AllState where I have been for 40 years to Geico. I just got my refund for monies already paid and they deducted $65 for "policy change".... is this legal???? That is sooooo nasty. Luckily we are saving more than that by changing.

Does your policy contract state that there is an early termination fee? If not, call them and ask them what it's for.

No idea since we've been with them so long I just keep renewing. I will call them on Monday. Thank you.
