What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arkansas
Can I legally pass off or opt out of receiving my part of an inheritance before estate is settled? Example: 3 properties to be divided/sold etc.. I don't want anything from or to do with. I would like to give my part to my brother's daughter in place of giving it all to my brother (who is an alcoholic/druggie).What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

You can "opt out", which is called a disclaimer. The property you disclaimed goes back into the estate for distribution. You cannot direct where it will go unless you accept the property and gift it.
