What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington.

Is it legal to rent out your condo when you have this listed as your residential home in documents?

Read your mortgage docs. Read your condo bylaws as to rental.

Did you EVER live there? What representations did you make to the lender as to this being your residence (did you buy as owner occupied and live there some period of years then move out, for example)?

The condo bylaws say, owner can rent or lease without restrictions. I am buying it now off an auction and they'd like me to put this as a primary residence since they already have like 3-4 condos listed as rental property so they dont want to put one more in that category. Just wondering if renting afterwards will be a problem?

Are you going to live there and eventually rent it out? If you are buying it as an investment, do NOT misrepresent your intent.
