Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC: After I stopped on a stop sign, instead of taking left I took right, which was one-way (wrong-way). I did not see the sign of "all traffic" which was pointing towards left. Within about 30 seconds, I got pulled over and got the pink summons AA-500.2 for disobey sign in violation of section 103 sub c (2), with the Criminal court date after a month. I am planning to plea guilty. I have a clean record. So, my questions are:
1. What will be the penalties to the max?
2. Will I have a criminal record if I plea guilty?
3. Is this a criminal offense since I should appear in CRIMINAL COURT?
I would really appreciate any type of information. Please help, I am really worried.
