I have a tree on my property line. Can I prune all of it without informing my neighbor.

And now for a legally ACCURATE answer....

You can prune or trim any branches that overhang your property... AS LONG AS you don't cause damage or injury to the tree. Unless you are an arborist or the tree is small, your best option is to have a professional trim the tree to protect you from potential claims from your neighbor.

And lets not forget.... you CANNOT trespass on the neighbors property to trim the branches.
