I was recently employed with a small company in Michigan. It mutually agreed that we would "go our separate ways." As part of the agreement I was verbally told that I would receive compensation through the next 2 week pay period as well as insrance through the end of the following month. It appears that they have changed their minds without any explanation or warning. Is this a valid verbal contract? What recourse do I have?
