What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Mexico
So here is the deal.. I bought a house with a girlfriend (first mistake!), and I put $20,000 down on the house. We both are on title however, she is the only one on the mortgage because I had a surgery and was out of work for 6 months. So... We broke up and she I moved out because she wanted to stay there. I have offered her solutions to get me off title, or to sell, or for me to take it over but she does not want to reason with me!
Do I have any recourse? Can I force her to sell? Can I force her to pay me money?
Any advice would be great!
