I was the executor and personal representative of my sister's small estate. In distributing her estate to her daughter I included the Land Sales Contract for a small piece of property that my sister had sold. However, I neglected to include the Warranty Deed in the distribution.
I have now realized that, and have been told that we must petition to reopen the estate in order to fix the problem.
Is there a simpler less expensive way. My niece has been receiving payments for more than 10 years now.
