What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MAINE

Greetings - tough situation.

Own house w/ girlfriend. Mortgage in both our names (we are not married). Her mother is moving to town and I do not want the woman in my home.

DO I have a legal right to have her mother removed?

Probably not, unless the ownership is set up strangely. Normally, a cotenant has an undivided interest in the property. Each owner has rights to use the whole.
