What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MAINE

Greetings - volatile situation. Currently girlfriend and I own house together. I am looking at options as to how to remove her from the home and mortgage.

She is violent and manic, which creates another situational problem in presenting my desire to have her removed from the property.

She is unable to afford house by herself. I am able to afford house with my income.

Release of liability? (cost estimates/functionality/time?)

Refi? (how different from above?)

Thank you

You can't "remove" her from her property. You can buy her portion from her. She should demand you refinance to take her off the current loan.
