A cleaners in Carol Stream, Illinois damaged my $75.00 dress and is claiming it was damaged when I brought it in. According to the small claims court the damages has to be between $1,000.00 and $5,000.00. Since, the damage isn't at that amount does that mean he gets away with it? Please advise.
