Is it possible for a homeowner to file a voluntary lien against their property to guarantee that creditors will get paid without them having to file a judgment, take it to court, etc.? If so, how does this work?

It DOES NOT work!

(Somewhat like an obtuse set of brains that would even contemplate such foolishness. That is of course, unless the creditors are equally demented.)
