My mother passed away and did not leave a secondary name on her safe deposit box. The bank said I needed to get a petition from Probate court and Probate court advised me to seek a lawyer. Could someone please tell me what is needed in the way of forms,where to get those forms and approx. how long the entire process would take for me, the executor of her will, to get the petition and gain entry to her box?
