What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington
I was fired by the Vice Chairman whom he is not my boss. I have had alot of my rights violated by Chairman and board members. I have been Harassed,Retaliation, pay wage, demoted, now fired. I have work 6 yrs at Kalama Housing Authority. Thanks Kaye What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

As long as the vice chairman has authority within the organization he can fire you. There is no statute that dictates only a manager with direct responsiblity for the employee can terminate that employment.
