What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois
My former boss would not update my status with the company I left over a month ago. This status update ( which will say that I no longer work with my company) is needed by the financial company managing my 401k to allow me to do whatever I want with my 401k, withdraw it, roll it over, etc. His superiors don't seem to want to help me after contacting them. Can he or the company do this? Is this legal? Can I sue? Thanks in advance.
