What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? indiana

a new car dealership owner was sued by the Illinois states attorney november 2009 and an injuntion was placed against him for owning/operating another dealership. As of march 2010, this owner opened an used car dealership over the boarder in indiana under his mother's name. is that legal? or one of those gray areas of the law. Also, the "maker" of the new cars he sold is also suing him for fraudulant business practices and the dealership was taken from him by sherrifs.

This type of post often is written by the person guilty of the wrongdoing who's trying to make it look like it's a hypothetical situation, he's asking on behalf of a friend, yada yada.
