My question is this, my daughter is the only surviving member of a very small family. She found out when her dad died that his uncle, her great-uncle who died 2 yrs. after my daughter's birth left a small financial inheritance. He lived in NJ, but died in NY, and the funds are in NJ at the Dept. of the Treasury. What is the proceedure on filing an Ancillary Letter, (Letter of Administration), in the state of Georgia?
